Chapman University’s Junior Studio Art class proudly presented Inner Mosaic, a collective exhibition. This compelling culmination of work from Chapman’s Junior Studio Art majors will be open for any visitors from April 14 to April 18, 2025. Featuring an array of artistic media—including painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, and mixed media installations—the show serves as a visual exploration of the complex and multifaceted ways in which individuals define themselves. Each piece in the exhibition represents a personal narrative, reflecting moments of introspection, cultural influences, and the evolving nature of self-perception. As the name suggests, Inner Mosaic combines distinct artistic voices, like individual tiles in a larger composition. Some works examine historical connections—how past, present, and future play into our stories—while others focus on contemporary self-expression, inner conflicts, or passions that define the artists' creative journeys, contributing to a collective dialogue.
